About posting an internship:

• Provide interns with a hands-on opportunity to learn skills that are relevant to local employers and to gain current work experience needed to compete for jobs in today's workforce.
• Employers agree not to use an intern found using IgniteU to displace any employee who is/was performing substantially the same or similar function. Furthermore, the intern will not infringe in any way upon the promotional opportunities of current employees.
• Employers are expected to safely allow job shadow students to observe the day to day operations of their business at a variety of positions in order to understand how those positions contribute to the overall success of the company. Furthermore the employer must be willing to abide by any guidelines set forth by the placing school or district.
• The employer shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and ordinances in the conduct of these arrangements.
